A fluent French speaker (native language English), Anneliese’s own mixed culture background and experiences of living in France and Canada have given her a personal and professional insight into the issues involved in cultural shift. A practical understanding of cultural difference, backed by in-depth knowledge of communications theory, enables Anneliese to support clients as they manage the interface between language and the many layers of culture – including professional, organisational and national. Anneliese helps her clients to fast track this ‘insider’ knowledge. Clients appreciate Anneliese’s ability to meet the needs and objectives of diverse professional groups and organisations. She is particularly adept at helping clients to enhance interpersonal communications which build solid relationships, encourage initiative and open-up opportunity.
Alongside her coaching work, Anneliese develops and delivers a range of programmes on interpersonal and intercultural communication, diversity, and sustainable culture change. She also works with teams to review communications processes, leverage differences and synergies between cultures and devise shared ‘Best Practice’ guidelines to achieve the highest levels of performance. Through an increased technical understanding of how communication works, clients are able to adapt readily to new contexts, manage uncertainty, and respond to change with resilience and confidence. Anneliese Guérin-LeTendre has a proven record of delivery, and a total commitment to communication which has personal authority, authenticity and impact. Clients describe her as dynamic, insightful, and thought-provoking, and appreciate her depth of knowledge combined with a practical ‘can-do’ approach. Her coaching and facilitation style offers constructive challenge and support, together with a practical focus to maximise personal and professional potential. Anneliese enjoys working collaboratively. Pursuing her specialist interest in culture and diversity, she recently co-authored a self-help guide for international medical graduates working in the UK ‘So You Qualified Abroad’ (Pub. Radcliffe 2014) and a practical guide to effective communication in teams, ‘Making Relationships Work At Work’ (Pub. Practical Inspiration 2020). For larger programme deliveries she calls on her network of trusted and experienced coach-facilitators, notably her Paris-based colleague, Kathleen Brown-Noblet. Anneliese Guérin-LeTendre enjoys taking part in ‘speed coaching’ and ‘flashmob coaching’ events, taking free coaching to the street.
