Anneliese is a leadership coach with extensive coaching, training and facilitation experience in the both the public and private sector, including defence, the NHS, foods, the automotive industry, engineering, banking, health, law, sales, pharmaceuticals, human resources, higher education and government. Founder of Dialogue Links, she works with decision-makers and their teams to solve complex communication challenges, manage culture change, and promote the exceptional advantages of culturally diverse teams.
A fluent French speaker (native language English), her own mixed culture background and her experiences of living in France and Canada, have given her personal and professional insight into the issues involved in cultural shift. A practical understanding of cultural difference, backed by in-depth knowledge of communications theory, enables Anneliese to support clients as they manage the interface between language and the many layers of culture – including professional, organisational and national. Anneliese helps her clients to fast track this ‘insider’ knowledge
Clients appreciate Anneliese’s particular ability to meet the needs and objectives of diverse professional groups and organisations. She is particularly adept at helping clients to enhance interpersonal communications which build solid relationships, encourage initiative and open-up opportunity.
Alongside her coaching work, she develops and delivers a range of programmes on interpersonal and intercultural communication, diversity, and sustainable culture change. Anneliese also works with teams to review communications processes, leverage differences and synergies between cultures and devise shared ‘Best Practice’ guidelines to achieve the highest levels of performance. Through an increased technical understanding of how communication works, combined with insights offered by cultural intelligence and psychometric tools, clients are able to adapt readily to new contexts, manage uncertainty, and respond to change with resilience and confidence.
Anneliese has a proven record of delivery, and a total commitment to communication which has personal authority, authenticity and impact. Clients describe her as dynamic, insightful, and thought-provoking, and appreciate her depth of knowledge combined with a practical ‘can-do’ approach. Anneliese’s coaching and facilitation style offers constructive challenge and support, together with a practical focus to maximize personal and professional potential.
Anneliese enjoys working collaboratively. Pursuing her specialist interest in culture and diversity, Anneliese recently co-authored a self-help guide for international medical graduates working in the UK (‘So You Qualified Abroad’, Pub. Radcliffe 2014). She is currently collaborating on another book – a practical guide to effective communication in teams. On larger programme deliveries she collaborates with other coach-facilitators, notably her Paris-based colleague, Kathleen Brown-Noblet.
As part of her pro bono work, Anneliese offers coaching to health care professionals in the NHS through the Thames Valley and Wessex Leadership Academy. She also enjoys taking part in ‘flashmob coaching’ events, taking free coaching to the street.
